The Miix 700 performed our stress test (Prime95 and FurMark run for at least one hour) in the same manner in both AC and battery 
mode. It should not come as a surprise that the CPU and GPU are throttled quite quickly due to the lack of active cooling. High 
speeds are only reached for 1 to 2 minutes before decreasing. The processor clocks at 500 to 700 MHz. The clock remains mostly at 
500 MHz in the course of the test. The graphics core clocks at 350 to 400 MHz.

Battery Life

If the previous UX305 has an Achilles heel, it was the battery life. Not every user needs extended runtimes - nowadays it's easy 
enough to find outlets in coffee shops or even on airplanes - but the 6 hours and 50 minutes we recorded when we tested the Zenbook 
UX305FA-FB003H seemed awfully short. Unfortunately, things haven't improved at all: despite the lower-resolution panel, the UX305CA 
shut down after not even six and a half hours.

Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing - after all: where else do you get a unibody aluminum chassis, Core M processor, 8 GB 
of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, a very good 1080p display and decent input devices for just $700? Granted, the UX305CA isn't one of the 
fastest systems out there - especially since Asus employs pretty aggressive throttling techniques - so power users need to look 
elsewhere. The 13.3-inch subnotebook can easily handle word processing, web browsing and similar tasks and it does so without 
getting hot or emitting any noise. Too bad that the battery life is so short, otherwise this system would make the perfect travel 
companion. High on our wishlist as well: a backlit keyboard.

For the price, the UX305CA-EHM1 is hard to beat: it is extremely thin, very light and beautifully executed.

Battery Runtime (Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 - 41 Wh)
Overall, the battery life is very good. Our real world Wi-Fi test simulates the load needed for opening websites using the 
"Balanced" profile and a screen brightness of approximately 150 cd/m². The Miix 700 achieves 7:20 hours here, which should be enough 
for a workday or a day at school/university. Lenovo's tablet manages 7:30 hours in our video test on one battery load. We test video 
playback time by running the short movie "Big Buck Bunny" (H.264 encoding, 1920x1080 pixels) in a loop.

Verdict:
 The installed Core M processor provides enough computing power for routine use. It can permanently develop its performance despite 
passive cooling - at least in single thread performance. A (minor) performance decrease can be observed in Multithread performance.

Idomus pastebejimas, kai m3 geriau nei m5:

This raises the question whether Lenovo should perhaps have installed a Core m3 processor. The Core m5 processor only outperforms 
the Core m3 in the Surface Pro 4 slightly. Lenovo could even offer a Core m3 version of the Miix 700 at a lower price, which would 
make the device even more attractive.
