Operating Room Charges

Operating Room charges are made up of an initial set-up charge, plus an 
added charge for each 15 minutes of time while the operation is being 
performed. The added 15-minute charges are based on the level of difficulty 
of the operation, with Level 1 being the most simple. The following charges 
do not include anesthesia or recovery room services, nor do they include 
doctors' fees for surgical or anesthesia services. Doctors who perform 
surgery and anesthesia services will each send a separate bill for their 
services.
